Hello, Community!

Welcome back to our series on Hardwire Kit and Installation—this is Part 4! In the last few posts, we walked you through the basics of hardwire kits, giving you a solid foundation to understand how they work and why they’re essential for powering your dash cam. Now, it’s time to roll up our sleeves and dive into the installation process!

Key Reminder Before We Begin:
Every vehicle is unique! Fuse box layouts can differ not only by make and model but also by year. To ensure a smooth and safe installation, it’s crucial to carefully read your car’s manual and understand your specific fuse box setup. This step is vital to avoid unnecessary complications and to protect your vehicle’s electrical system.

Pro Tip from Wolfbox:
When working with your vehicle’s fuse box, double-check the amperage rating of the fuses you’re tapping into. Never replace a fuse with one of a higher rating, as it may lead to electrical issues or even damage your vehicle’s systems.
