Don't want to distract from the core workshop manual issue. If Lynn is receptive, would be nice if we could rotate the tyres ourselves without a trip to the dealer to reset the TPMS sensors.

As @Tom D suggested, this is possible. My local tyre fitter did a rotation and was able to reprogram the sensors for their new locations with their standard equipment.

Ask her about the power steering pump whine. Is Ineos content with that sound associated with their fleet?

Hi Tom,

Really appreciate all your efforts talking with Lynn. One of my concerns is part availability. I currently have a small leak from the oil inlet pipe on the turbo (banjo nut?). I am currently waiting for the local agent (4x4 Garage) to have a look at the leak and determine exactly where it is and what needs to be done to fix it (booked in for the 30th). My worry is that they will need to order parts, and then how long it will take to get said parts (located in Canberra, Australia). The initial sales pitch, way back when, was three parts hubs, one of which was going to be located in Melbourne.
So my question to Lynn would be what has happened to these parts hubs? Is one still planned for Melbourne? If it exists, how well stocked is it?
Also as a bonus question, how hard is it to get warranty work down by independent mechanics? What is the process, if any? That is, non agents of Ineos.

There is a parts warehouse in Melbourne, which according to Justin Hocevar is well, and probably, overstocked. Justin does however concede that the parts mix may not be perfect.

Well I would suggest they work on speeding up the delivery of said parts. I believe 48 hours was the sales pitch.

Thanks. Good to know we have the option of running it down to a shop for quick and easy service at any professional shop and not just the relatively few Ineos dealers. It would also be nice to be able to initiate tpms relearn without requiring professional level diagnostic tools so that a rotation could be done ourselves.

In your current "open letter" to Lynne, is she interested only in complaints that owners feel need to be addressed or is she also interested in owner feedback for future improvements?
