Faced with numerous challenges, including limited funding, technology, and resources, the company's relentless dedication enabled it to grow from humble beginnings. In stark contrast, the owner of Ineos Grenadier, a former British billionaire, could readily acquire technology, equipment, and R&D personnel by merely investing his wealth, making his journey from scratch to success much smoother. The issues I have raised were all identified within forums, and frankly, they are relatively straightforward to rectify; it boils down to a question of willingness. For example, when a journalist inquired about the issue of rust on Great Wall Motor vehicles, Chairman Wei Jianjun responded by suggesting that rust might not be a craftsmanship issue but potentially a design flaw or even a matter of ethical integrity.ss of trial and error. Interesting how your post repeats at the bottom….ChatGPT? Beyond your “interest”, do you own a Grenadier?

This thread which started with such positive progression has turn into a real popcorn event
Still sitting on the sidelines and really hoping for positive outcomes

I'm starting to get sick of all the constant negative people. This thread is ment to be positive and a insight to ineos changing for the better and listening to the customers
I’d suggest putting the folks you don’t like onto your ignore list. Otherwise, they have every right to speak their mind as Grenadier owners and members of this forum, as long as it’s within forum rules.

Ironically, the letter is in part because so many people are unhappy (ie “negative”) with various aspects of the Grenadier. I get what you’re saying though. It does become a drain sometimes. I just skim over those posts, roll my eyes or face palm, and move on until I get to @Jean Mercier, @anand, @Tazzieman, or @DaveB posts to brighten my day again😂😂😜

Enjoy your day brother, it’s just a truck and only a forum, 🤙🏻🤙🏻

I guess I could do that . I also understand they do get to post what they want but it's nearly every single thread . I stopped looking at this forum for months due to the regular moaners. This thread is one of the few that has a good/positive motive

Regarding IA, at least they are trying to improve. Have they got everything perfect so far? Nope. Do any other car manufacturers, let alone startups, get everything perfect? Absolutely not. No chance.

I’ve had some truly awful service from Land Rover over the years and they couldn’t give a f**k. So they lost one customer out of the tens of millions. People still buy the product and they probably always will. Ineos on the other hand seem to recognise they have work to do and are, at least, promising to do better.

China must make different GWM’s to those sold in Australia, which are largely cheap but pretty junk that will end up in early land fill.
They may get better, but right now, not so much.

I'm absolutely not a robot. Firstly, I don't understand English, so I rely on translation software to convert Chinese into English online before pasting it into the forum. I was merely illustrating with an example from a Chinese automaker.
From now on, I'll only read the forum and refrain from posting any opinions.

That's not how this place works; please feel free to share your thoughts and opinions. Many members are ESL or speak no English at all and rely on translating sights/apps and that's why this community is so wonderful - everyone is welcome! ( I used Google translate so I hope that gets my point across adequately).

这不是我们工作的模式;请随意分享您的想法和意见。许多成员都是英语为第二语言 (ESL) 或完全不会说英语,只能依靠翻译景点/应用程序,这正是这个社区如此精彩的原因——欢迎所有人!

Please accept my apology. I guess your use of translation software makes you sound like an AI!

People just need to understand that the first 3/4 of the fuel gauge represents the first 5/6th of the tank, and the last 1/4 of the gauge represents the last 6th in your tank.

🤷‍♂️
goddamitmotherfucker. just when I start to like metric, you're pushing me back into fractions, and dividing by them none the less.

If Lynne’s team is monitoring - I would like to echo a previous request (for future design improvements) for a more robust “extreme cold” package, which would include a heated windscreen, heated wiper fluid reservoir, and heated headlamp - also heated steering wheel. The first 3 are really weaknesses in the design - the last is comfort. For many of us, winter, even in extreme cold, is an invitation to outdoor adventure. We’re outdoors camping, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, ice fishing - as long as it’s above -5 F, I’m out there - and as long as it’s above 20F, I’m in waders trout fishing in streams. I frequently have problems with the windscreen or wipers icing, and if the snow is coming down hard and is “sticky,” I have to get out and clear the headlamps from time to time. This is not “adventure worthy” - we’re not just doing little jaunts up at Aspen and parking it with the valet. The cold and snow is not the end of the adventure - it just makes it more interesting. Ineos needs to “man up” on the winter specs.
pussy.

China boasts a brand dedicated to manufacturing off-road vehicles, Great Wall Motor. This company provides complimentary rescue services, reaching even those stranded in the desert Gobi. The founder of Great Wall Motor is a meticulous automobile manufacturer who excels at listening to user feedback and swiftly incorporates improvements into subsequent models. These timely adjustments help prevent recurring issues that users may encounter during operation. My interest in the Ineos Grenadier began when it was first produced, even before it made its way to China. Issues have been noted, including water leakage from the roof window, excessive heat exposure of the roof window, a lack of illumination for the keyhole, an absence of a USB charging port on the central control panel, rusted exterior screws, water leakage from the tailgate seal, a low-mounted reversing camera producing a blurred image, significant wind noise within the cabin, and the power fuse box under the second-row seats being in close proximity to the floor without any protective measures. Should the vehicle wade through water and internal flooding occur, could it potentially compromise the car's electrical system? Furthermore, I must express my dissatisfaction with the mini display positioned behind the steering wheel, which is limited to displaying fault codes and a series of icons, such as the differential lock. Is such a design truly necessary?
I cant argue with Yang here. A wash out interior with all the electronics under seat always seemed odd, and an old school speed/tach belongs in front of the driver.

This thread is about a letter to the CEO of a colossal shit show apparently...trying to make things better for all owners and the next generation, or have I missed something (y)
I thought this as well.

WTF happened to this thread?

Can we get back on topic?
