Walking up to my 25 Fieldmaster, I looked like it leans toward the drivers side. Thought maybe it was a parking lot angle.

Got it home and in the garage. Measured from the floor to the bottom of the outer fender opening. Centered with the front wheel.

Yep, it's off about 1/2 inch. Seems like that should be no big deal but its noticeable.

Weak spring? Knowing me, this will bug me. Not sure the dealer will want to do anything but I'll ask.

Any suggestions? Wonder if I could add a spacer?

That's a known issue with some of them. Don't add a spacer. Take it to the dealer. Show them the measurements. They have a Technical Service Bulletin for it and will replace the springs under warranty to fix the lean.

Are you sure about that?
I'm afraid @rob88 is not a Grenadier owner and judging by some of his comments in various threads clearly hasn't even read the Grenadier's owners manual. He has come " clean" about his status in a recent thread, but please be cautious over any comments he may make.

Mostly posting misleading nonsense that confuses owners and prospective owners.
This rob88 is of no use on the forum. Mostly posting misleading nonsense. @Krabby and @Stu_Barnes If you have time. Please go through the posts of this member. I’ve called them out several times and they still post misleading nonsense.

rob88 seems to be a troll.
Part of his forum name, 88, is used by neo-Nazis as a disguised Hitler salute: the eighth letter of the alphabet is H; 88 therefore stands for HH, an abbreviation of ‘Heil Hitler’. Says Wikipedia.

I appreciate the comments. I will call the dealer. I am awaiting a new media dial CCI unit to come in as mine squeaks. I'll ask about the the lean.

Just looking at dealer photos of new Grenadiers, some have the same leaning look and some don't. That's totally visual. I actually took a level to the front and rear bumpers and rear roof. Yep a slight lean. I really don't want to level it out with reducing air pressure on the passenger side.

Just for interest, I'd love to hear what other owners measure with their vehicles. Maybe it's within tolerances?

Whatever rob88 is. They are a liar who claims to have a 2” lift 2022 Grenadier in the USA with a failed prop shaft at 18000 miles then turns around in another thread to say they don’t actually own one. 🤬

While my take on rob88 is far from certain, I have seen no indication that his use of 88 is nefarious and linking a member with anything Nazi related without cause isn't acceptable. I am fully aware as a world-wide forum, global events are seen through different eyes, but making that connection makes me uncomfortable.

Simply put, he could have been born in 1988 - maybe owns a SWB Land Rover (which have an 88 inch wheelbase) - maybe he's a Dallas Cowboys fan where jersey number 88 is a significant number often held by their best wide receiver?

I had a Porsche 968 Sport which had a definite lean to the left. When pointing this out at the dealership, they told me this was within tolerance. As someone with the odd bit of OCD, I was unable to tolerate it. I ended up rejecting the vehicle.

Thanks @Krabby.

I've also gently pushed back a bit on this Rob88 person but I'm not ready to call him out in public. For all we know he (?) might be a disabled vet in a wheelchair who struggles with life and has found this forum as a means to have some meaningful interaction with others on a subject he finds interesting. He is certainly off script with his responses and knowledge and he's failing on authenticity but that could be the result of a brain injury or ongoing MH issues. Whilst his persistent insertions are challenging they're easy enough to disregard (just block him if he troubles you).
The downside to the forum is he presents himself as an experienced owner with his typical "that's a common fault" preamble so new owners will get some dud info unless someone else picks it up. He's not doing any harm but neither is he doing a lot of good right now.

I don't think it's helpful to keep calling him out in public. Is it worth you or Stu having a direct chat with him?

edit: typos.

Thanks @Clark Kent and @Krabby My concern is about the information not the person as I don’t know their personal circumstances. But if someone presents themselves as knowledgeable and keeps posting incorrect information and technical advice, it does need challenging so the forum doesn’t turn into a source. of disinformation.
