Leaking diff this morning

That would work. There are traditional torque wrenches for similar cost available too.

The special tool probably looks something like this as there is little space to get a socket on.

I've made stuff like that with an impact socket and angle grinder

Pro tip: sign up for an automotive class at the local community college and get the student rate on tools from Snap-On.
 
When I was in the automotive trade, thank God I got out and that was a long time ago, Snap On trucks would come around to the workshop to sell their stuff
I would walk through and be amazed at the ludicrous prices then go to the local tool shop and by what I needed at half the price, I still have some of the half the price stuff 30 years later.
Moral of the story, Snap On is a waste of hard earned cash
Just my opinion of course
Now back to the new cars spewing out oil and needing special tools that nobody has and the dealers need to share them around between themselves which is apparently acceptable because in a tiny country on the other side of the planet they can go in the same day post
The Grenadier just slipped a few rungs down the ladder again…
