Hi all,

I was looking for a small roadshower without electricity. The Jerrycan Lifesaver is of course built for a different purpose but I found it a bit of a waste to use the filter which you have to prime first and the it just sits there filtering pure water anyway (in my case).
So I made an adapter that replaces the filter altogether. The adapter is designed with a 3/4" thread to fit most standard garden accessories. I will connect a 13-15mm diameter pipe (1/2"-5/8") that will reach to the bottom of the can.
By using the pump and pressurising the can you will have a nice flow of water without the resistance caused by the filter.
This is just a theory though, which I'll try out in the next few days.

Cheers!

PS: did not find a way to upload the STL File so maybe i´ll upload them in Thingiverse. I´ll keep you updatet.

Hi, I’m highly interested in your adapter. Did you ever upload the STL file somewhere? I’d really like to get it. Thanks in advance.
