A bit confusing but Admiral came up with a more expensive quote if I had a black box fitted. Not that I would ever agree to one but Why would you pay more to have one 🤔

I had the same -seems illogical as its usually only required for new drivers and people with a bad record. Maybe its a glitch.

LV. Online quote £610. I’ve insured with them before and I have confidence in them 👍🏼
Of note is that the excess for windscreen repair is £20 and the excess for windscreen replacement is £190. 😳 The Grenadier windscreens must be very expensive or vulnerable to damage or both, for my Adrian Flux quote windscreen cover was not an option.

Thanks
I tried a comparison site a couple of months back but it wouldn’t do commercial vehicles. I’ll have another check around 👍🏼
Moneysupermarket van insurance gives you quotes with Admiral showing no windscreen excess. Few companies currently quoting for commercials so it will get cheaper as time goes by and more enter the market, Possibly the only good thing about the delays!

I was wondering if I the UK, those of us who have ordered should band together and try to negotiate with a specialist insurance broker.
Mileages won't be high I guess and our ages will be high !!!
Any thoughts from those in the industry?
Hi, I have a quote from the NFU (National Farmers Union) an extra £230 as a top up until August Full comp based on £53K +VAT. My current truck is a Isuzu Dmax extended cab valued at ££13K and I live in Greater London(Croydon) not the best risk area to live. . The quote was issued the first week of Jan 2023.
I asked why it was so high, tongue in cheek, the answer being its quoted as a special for now and would be refined when they know more about the vehicle, "LIKE MOST OF US"?
