There have been scattered comments around the forum about this special build vehicle by IA Australia, but the following news article popped up on my news feed this morning.

https://www.carexpert.com.au/car-ne...dier-quartermaster-ute-scores-aussie-upgrades

Looks interesting and ticks a lot of boxes. No mention of a GVM upgrade or if it is lifted though.

I look forward to seeing it when it comes though Perth.

Cheers
Steve

Finally.

I got many specs correct. My latest list was:

What I know about the car so far (updated):
  1. Norweld tray and canopy (the Elite Tray, and the canopy is the Deluxe Lite);
  2. JMACX Alpha 2.5 suspension, with more to come including a front steering damper;
  3. Rhino Rack 3/4 roof rack;
  4. 168 litre Brown Davis aux tank (BD is also offering a 105l tanks for the QM, not the Grenadier);
  5. camping lights over rear door, most likely STEDI and probably both sides. They look like they are plugged into the QM's exterior roof power outlets;
  6. work light on the rear driver's side of canopy roof, probably STEDI and probably both sides;
  7. STEDI lights (x8) on the roof rack, maybe Type-X EVO 4 mini LEDs (controlled by the Redarc TVMS?);
  8. Redarc TVMS (you can see it in the Norweld tray video).
Waiting for reveals of fridge [Bushmann upright], UHF [XRS-370C4P and GME XRS-660] and recovery gear [MAXTRAX].

6FT Rack is back on the configurator and priced.

I wonder if this means a new smart harness for INEOS models (Point 5). I cannot find it on the STEDI website.

Heading towards $200k! But it would be nice to get one for free!!!
Earn it! A month on Only Fans if you've got a large left leg , so to speak.
Take it from someone who knows 😉

I went to Purnell Adventure and had a look at INEOS' Kaiju beast. Some observations:
  1. massive 35 inch tyres, but it works with the lift;
  2. JMACX suspension is really well engineered. The car has an electronic shock controller near the driver, but that option is not offered on the JMACX website (manual only);
  3. it is a beast (a big increase in size from the Grenadier with the 35 inch tyres, lift and extra body length);
  4. RedArc Ultimate wiring package;
  5. looks like they use a slimline battery behind the RedArc panel - at least that is where all the cables seem to go. Very slick cable work. EDIT: Or the battery may be down under the canopy - it is well hidden wherever it is (looking at this video the battery maybe be under the tray;
  6. Redarc Black Alpha 50A charger;
  7. 2000W RedArc Black Alpha Inverter;
  8. I do not remember seeing the RedArc TVMS unit (Prime or Rogue), it may be behind the panel;
  9. 168 aux fuel tank, with the standard 90 litre - giving 258 litres in total. Two fuel inlets, one Adblue inlet and a water inlet between the car body and the canopy head board;
  10. On board water, I do not known the capacity - I should have photographed the spec sheet;
  11. Bushmann 130l upright fridge;
  12. STEDI lights on the across the front of the roofrack, above rear doors and inside and outside the canopy;
  13. the NORWELD tray/canopy has amazing quality of build;
  14. the tray/canopy setup was around AUD40,000;
  15. it had a GVM upgrade which is going to be must do for any build this size.

I'm interested in the slimline battery. There looks to be a ton of space between the plastic partition and the rear firewall. I want to pull it off and explore to see how much space. When you look, it looks like from the floor to 3/4 of the rear seat back is open.

Here is the base offering from NORWELD (image from Purnell Adventures). There are differences between the Ultimate package and what is on the Kaiju, for example, the Kaiji uses a 50A Black Alpha charger, rather than a RedArc Project Manager 30:
