Overall, I am very happy with my Grenadier Trialmaster, love this truck and enjoy it every time I'm out and about.
There are known minor issues, and I do think that most of these issues can be addressed before we (the customer) take delivery of our truck.
Here is a list of things I had issues with after I took delivery.
1. Cowl Plugs: I had to go back twice for cowl plugs as they randomly fell out. Dealership replaced the cowl plugs and added sealant to fix the issue.
2. Wiper blades: INEOS should address the poor quality of the wiper blades. Customers have to research and purchase third party wipers to address this issue.
3. Ticking noise/sound coming from the dashboard while driving: Dealership took care of this by tightening down the dashboard/center console.
4. Spongy or squishy brake pedal (long travel pedal): Dealership performed a brake fluid exchange (bled brakes) to fix the issue.
5. Steel wheels center cap rust: Dealership could make sure that the steel wheels are rust free before delivery.
6. Software updates: If a software update is available, the dealership could perform updates to the vehicles that are on the lot, to help improve the customer experience. Otherwise, the customer will need to go back to get the update. Improve software update process.
Other issues that come up frequently online:
a. Cracked windshields: I see complaints about this and from the pictures that are shared, they mostly crack in the same spot. INEOS needs to research this and see if they can make an improvement and minimize cracked windshields.
b. Handles feel flimsy. Improve the rear door handle and hood release handle.
c. AC condensation. Windshield condensation on outer glass.
These are the issues I encountered after I took delivery of my truck. It would be great if all of these were addressed beforehand, as they are known minor issues.
Even though I had these problems, I am thankful that the dealership took action in fixing these problems for me even though it took 3 visits to get them all done.
All of the above were under warranty and I didn't have to pay to get them fixed.
Some of these are easy fixes and INEOS needs to take note of what issues to address before the vehicle is shipped to a dealership.
