I need this.

When I contacted them about a knockdown kit, they politely told me they don't do that anymore, and they never sent them to the scummy colonies anyway.

One of you limey's needs to find a way to get me one of these. Give 'em slap. Rough 'em up a little. Make 'em offer they cant refuse. Do something.

Send me enough money and a wishlist and we can get one built -(but there is a long wait list).

Your problem will be getting it registered; I'm willing to look after it for 25 years at no charge, providing I can "exercise" it.

no. Thats for production cars. Superfromace Cobras are built as rolling chassis on SA and imported. it's a "kit car" without a drive train. They may be doing something odd with Shelby now for VIN numbers also. It's been 20 odd years since I looked into them.

I don't even want that, to prevent a misclassification at the POE, as the Superformace has a wholly owned importer doing all the work. I just want a chassis/body knockdown kit, and I'll supply the rest myself. They are no longer interested in doing that at all as understand it, as the demand for Built cars in GB is more than they can handle. Why deal with the BS.

They will not sell you a kit due to US product liability laws; they will not be able to get product liability insurance in the UK to cover US risks, so it is easier and cheaper to say, "no, never!"

The other thing that does not help is Pembleton is using the IVA track for UK type approval, (Individual Vehicle Approval), so a limited number of cars and a very small UK insurer base willing to accept any risk.

It's just a double motorcycle joined in the middle...what's so dangerous?
