Interested in a Grenadier and a 2 door Quartermaster. Both with Portals. Will they be available in the US market? Would prefer the Diesel versions as well but that's a no go as of now. Will the Diesel ever make it to the US market as well?

Short version - the LeTech setups are initially EU only with plans to make available in NA down the road. I'm not sure if/what QM setup there will be, but the wagon should be available.

As for getting a diesel, nope. BMW no longer offers a diesel in NA, so IA will not offer that. I suppose if money is no object, you can swap on your own dime, but I would imagine that would bring a whole host other issues (registering, insuring, etc.).

I would think they would offer a factory portal kit to be installed at the dealers/service centers. If so I would do that right away. As far as the diesel it should have been a priority. But you can't have everything.

The 2 door that was shown off a few weeks ago was a modified/chopped 4 door, not a production unit (you can tell as the 4dr body mounts are still on the frame)... If I recall the pricing correctly, the conversion from 4dr to 2dr was around $45k USD and must be performed by LeTech in Germany

The LeTech portal system could be available as an aftermarket piece, given the prices of their G Wagen components, expect the portals alone to be around $80k USD. As for the diesel, it is part of their agreement with BMW for utilizing the engine hardware, they aren't allowed to use a motor (B57) in a region that BMW does not sell it in (North America).

Yep. Both dealers and all the local service centers. The Bosch service center in Pittsburgh was talking late q4 2025. It’s actually in the updated customer service manual.
