I need to replace my aftermarket system. What direction should I go?

I don't know how happy I was with my installer in Houston, Tx. I had bad coil whine all the time when applying the gas and felt I was sold the speakers they had sitting in the shop. It wasn't cheap either at around $4k. Anyway the system needs to be replaced due to water intrusion eating up my amps under the seat and the door speakers being soaked. If I'm going to pull new wiring I might as well just do it all. What speakers/amp/setup have you guys found works great with clean sound? I don't want the coil wine anymore. I was reading on the Audison system arrived but that thread is a year old now, some unhappy complaints with shipping, so looking to see what I could do if I just built it from the ground up myself.

1) Best speakers for front/rear doors with tweeters in the A pillars?
2) Any instructions out there for panel removal and location of things?

This is what i did for mine and it's super clean sound. Coming up on a year with it. Still very happy!
