Don't skimp on the ladder

My thinking on the ladder is there might be after market later on down the line. I'm trying to get the price to around 65k currently it's at 67k

Do you need a Raised Ait Intake in Scotland? A lot of rain, not much dust ...

Saves you a lot of money. And you don't need it imo.

My guess is, that it makes your car burn perceivable more fuel than without it. That's why I din't spec it.

All the real 4WDs at the mall have raised air intakes or snorkels.
Without one you would bring shame on the family

Forgot to mention got the utility rails , I don't think I'd ever use the outside rails for the price they cost , plus I ain't paying £107 for the country badge
Nope, SNP get their way it will be a redundant flag anyway

Look at the Smooth Pack ~ do you want all the parking sensors and puddle lights? If not option the items you want separately and there's savings to be had to help get you to the £65k target.

Rear ladder ~ are you going to fit a roof rack? If not consider why have a ladder. Also ladder is still (in my opinion) a flawed design with the lower rung being unusable in a way that HSE would recommend.

RAI ~ also consider induction noise, perhaps not as important as the other factors; I'd definitely skip this and if you need to do it properly then go aftermarket for a genuine snorkel.

Going to leave the ladder and raised air intake.
Was wondering if I didn't get the aux battery is it easy enough to add in later ?

Notionally, it should be, as the parts are all commercially available items, a few lengths of cable and perhaps a few bits of bespoke Ineos bracketry.

I don't see my self ever needing one In the future honestly, I'll be getting the aux wiring as that's something that will be rather difficult to add your self. Compared to the battery

Is the safari windows worth it ? I think it would be great the first few times then the novelty would wear off
They make the cabin light, spacious and massively increase headroom.
They also look great.
I can see them being opened when first getting into a hot vehicle but unsure how often I will remove them

My opinion, the ladder is a good buy whether you have a roof rack or not. Using it to grip and close the quarter panel door. Also, very useful for cleaning the Grenadier because it so tall as I found out today.

Raised intake is useful only if you intend wading deep water frequently or use in very sandy environments.

I used to have a sunroof In my last car , only ever forced my self to use it a handful of times

I can always buy the ladder at a later date if I do end up getting a roof rack. Think the roof will be a pain to clean 😂

Also up in two minds about leather or cloth seats. Not sure if the extra £1750 is worth the leather seats
