The built in mic for the CarPlay phone calls is really poor quality- and gets pretty much unusable at higher speeds. I saw there was a thread about some electrical wiring, but I was hoping for a less radical fix?

Would just wearing ear pods and selecting them instead of the car work? Keeping with the aviation type theme of the cabin, are there any wired or wireless headphones with a mic boom? Connect with Bluetooth?

Maybe one of the bone conduction type of headphones? Are those bone conducting for mic and speaker?

I’ve seen this posted elsewhere, I tested out my CarPlay. Not like my Mobil has anything to do with this but I have 14 pro max. I made a call to several people different phones and a landline; no issues windows up and even slightly down and all the way down. Up to 60 mph nobody complained.
