I am looking for a spare set of brake hoses to take with me on an upcoming overlanding trip and have been given the following quote (£915 incl. VAT) from an INEOS dealer outside of London. I am surprised by the cost, does this match what others are seeing?

Furthermore, when I did an online check against these reference numbers, the reply states that these are not valid INEOS codes, as INEOS uses 10-character part numbers starting with GRA- followed by a 3-letter system code, following by a further -two digits for the version. e.g. GRA-BRB-010147.

Any advice and guidance appreciated.

Do you have anyone local who makes them up? They are way cheaper than that,

Buzz Overland would be a good try as they will probably know the specs.

A frustrating day...

I contacted INEOS who told me that the part numbers taken off the schematics shown above from the portal are now no longer available.

I spoke with HEL and Goodridge who both said that they do not do INEOS brake lines and can't help. I also had an email from Agile Offroad - the lines that they have are specific to the aftermarket brakes that they fit and hence are not suitable as OEM replacements.

I tried a few other 'specialists' from online research today, a few of whom had no idea what an INEOS was... no joy.

Alex at Buzz Overland can't help directly, but has given me the details for someone else to contact (Pioneer4x4). I'll give them a try tomorrow.

That’s annoying. I wonder if all the other part numbers on the portal are no longer available? If so making the parts schematic next to useless. I’m hoping not.
