I am searching for wind rain deflectors to suit my Quartermaster front windows. The Climair ones are exorbitant. Just wondering if G Wagon one's fit, and what year model to use.

There was a "I met someone that did this" post in the Quartermaster forum - Overcompensation. Still have no details as to model, and year that fits. Mirror set up is different between the two brands.I think they do fit and someone has posted this. I will find the link.
This might get you excited. I am thinking about doing it.I got all excited thinking there was a wind deflector mounted on the front of the hood/bonnet thinking that would mitigate some windshield damage.
Just an update regarding my experience with Climair. The front deflectors arrived a few weeks ago from Australia to the US via Amazon UKAre there other options besides ClimAir? I ordered a set but they’re on back order till late April.
Any chance of seeing how they look fitted?Just an update regarding my experience with Climair. The front deflectors arrived a few weeks ago from Australia to the US via Amazon UK
I was surprised to see it was simply shipped in its retail packaging with no additional padding, or outer box to provide protection. The deflectors were slipped into a plastic sleeve…both of them in the same sleeve with no padding or separation between the deflectors.
As you can imagine it arrived in pretty bad shape. The box was torn in multiple areas and the deflectors had fine scratches all over it from, I’m assuming, rubbing together.

Amazon to their credit issued an immediate refund but reordering would entail another 3 month wait with no guarantee it would arrive in any better condition….and the price has increased another $30+ USD.
They did let me keep the deflectors so there’s that. Which kinda makes sense because when I priced out buying direct from Climair/EU, the shipping was significantly more than the deflectors.
Assuming it’s doable, I’ll try and polish the scratches out and give them a test run.
