Fusilier On Hold???

But they're all stolen cues. I guess they can make the same claim as Ineos that "form follows function" or that the result is due to manufacturing requirements.

The Chinese electric & hybrid car juggernaut is coming whether you like it or not, you can dismiss it as derivative and copycat to our western eyes or you can see how far advanced the design is and now surpasses US and Euro car companies. The car fleet in Shanghai and Beijing is younger, more advanced, cleaner and better looking than what I have seen anywhere else. I was in Shanghai two years ago and there has been a quantum leap in terms of design maturity and innovation since then. Not sure what this means for Ineos or how they can possibly compete, maybe they should stick to the ICE niche they already play in.

As mentioned a few pages ago in this thread, the rules in those cities virtually makes ICE cars unavailable, so EVs and hybrids are the only choice.

Decades ago, We all made fun of anything made in Japan. You couldn’t beat a Honda or anything from Japan for reliability. Less so now… The ebb and flow.

Personally I thinks it’s good for IG to focus a bit

Ineos can just rebadge something already existing if they need to meet CAFE standards, etc. without committing to until they are certain what they need.

Fusilier has risen from the dead?
Wow! That would be great. It’s interesting- in the US, the International Scout is being revived by VW. They are offering BEV and REx - in the pre-order registrations, fully 80% are for REx, so much so that they are just going to push the BEV launch out into the future.

VW out of money, scout launched pushed back.

Hybrid makes sense; there is enthusiastic uptake for this powertrain now..
I heard the new 2026 G class has gone hybrid.

I once drove a new Toyota Yaris Hybrid and Mazda 2 Hybrid and I honestly thought it was the best car in the world. Effortless going up hills, exceptionally quiet and fantastic economy.

If they make an hybrid or electric. Please make sure they sort out all the dashboard creaks. That Toyota I drove had zero creaks over bumps or in any weather.
