Fusilier On Hold???

As to point #3 above - ICE will only be gone if politically mandated so or if politically taxed out of existence. It would be stupid to get rid of ICE and then rely only on one type of powered transportation and pretty sure we will need fossil fuel for tanks and airplanes for a long long time.

As to point #1 above - So what? Venture Capitalist came come up with huge sums for investing purposes. Heck, let the Chinese forge ahead with EV's and then we can just steal their technology like they have stolen ours.

Yeah ICE vehicles will still be around the same way horse-drawn carriages and steam engine trains are now.

Actually hybrids were the way to go, but no, had to be all or nothing.
For long distance off roading or long distance trucking, either hybrids or "range extenders" or fuel cell electric vehicles are the solution with modern technology.

Eventually yes, 50 years or so. Unless 1/2 of all drivers go EV then perhaps 100 years! Heck, might not be any Humanity left in 100 years...

not everything new and shinny is good.
We are still being coerced into buying throw away white goods but now they have wheels.

Fortunately I can still buy things to last but research is necessary and you have to pay...the old idiom, You get what you pay for will live on forever and hopefully our Speed Queen washing machine will see us out, 35years young and still shaking the old Queensland timber home.

What about the Fusilier? I would be interested because I like the modern thinking that the Ineos culture brings. (y)
