Agreed. So far what I've seen except the water crossings my spouse could do in the Subaru.I’m more interested in what they didn’t show In the video. Getting stuck, learning to use the vehicles diff locks etc and what parts failed on the Grenadier.

I can see you won't be satisfied until a Grenadier has completed this track!Meh.
Sounds like the introduction to a joke.A pilot, a doctor and a yoga instructor went to Morocco...
or a porn filmSounds like the introduction to a joke.
I'm curious why the film shows the London doctor with the BZG car at home:I can see the following number plates (just last few characters) in the video.
RHD:-
FME
BZG
CJE
CHN
LHD:-
320
1219
The BB number plate doesn't match eitherI'm curious why the film shows the London doctor with the BZG car at home:

thought it would be longer![]()
I hoped for a longer video or videos as well. Slightly disappointed. We got tons of material down there. And after Gibraltar I tried to avoid motorways as much as possible. Went through the alps and crossed as many mountain passes as possible (quite limited due to the snow).Agree, I thought they might have made a more substantial video, or a series. I guess once they crossed the Straits of Gibraltar to Spain it was just boring motorways. Oh well.
Not sure about the comment earlier regarding the benefits of steel wheels. It looked to me like they gave the damaged on a bit of a bang with a hammer but didn't put it back on the vehicle. I imagine they just popped the spare one one.
the Sprinters were not part of the team. we only had Grenadiers and LandcruisersIt seems.the Mercedes Sprinters that the crew were driving got through with out a scratch ?
A cheaper alternative to a Grenadier with a bigger boot.
we had several Grenadiers in the team. the winner cars and rest was support vehicles. And some locally rented Landcruisers. I drove mine all the way....in Morocco and up to Austria ;-)CJE and BZG were swapped a few times through the video.
in fact all 3 cars were swapped in and out for others??
I suppose you’re not going to tell us what broke or went wrongwe had several Grenadiers in the team. the winner cars and rest was support vehicles. And some locally rented Landcruisers. I drove mine all the way....in Morocco and up to Austria ;-)
sure I do! Nothing went as planned due to the crazy weather. The route was constantly changed and we never slept where we were supposed to (except in Marrakech). That also meant we couldn't do as much offroad as planned cause all the "nice" tracks were covered in snow and the streets closed down by the police. The team tried to "convince" them but it didn't work.I suppose you’re not going to tell us what broke or went wrong![]()
