Fuel line failure- diesel

Id like to make the bed shorter 200-300mm. The city parking spaces here are just a bit too small for the QM and it can be a bit if a pain some days.

It's not quite Triton level of overhang but it's up there.

Hi All,
Quick update on current solution. I am non-metro/Rural so most of my local shops have limited SOH, and easy to special order items but I have to head on a ~2000km journey today. The best fix I could find in the time frame was a spiral wrap from Pirtek.
The guys there were super nice!!! Good old fashion service, they cut me a nice 1m length free of charge to help me out! Legends!
I have applied this to both the brake and fuel lines and tweaked the bracket a touch to increase clearance. The lines will still make contact on bumpy surfaces regardless, but now with the wraps in place I feel more confident to head off on this journey.

Great fix. Another common method I use is to split rubber fuel or vacuum hose and zip tie in place. You could even put this over your spiral wrap.

I just checked my petrol fuel lines and did not find any brake line interference. But a quick flick of my finger says the fuel tubing it very thin.
