Dual Battery Question

@Slov - I wouldn’t recommend a Li based starter battery in any case - They don’t work as well [1] in lower temperatures and they tend to struggle at very high amperage loads ( initial start ) when compared a Pb acid variant.

[1]: This first point is one of the reasons why the REDARC ALPHA150 150AH battery I noted earlier is actually heated.

@Slov - No doubt you’re paying some <variable> amount for the name but in my case I needed a Li battery which:
- Doesn’t struggle in winter climates.
- Is fairly temperature tolerant.
- Is internally heated ( per the first two points ).
- Has ~200A continuous discharge.
- Bluetooth connectivity for active loads / charging status etc.

The REDARC ALPHA150 150AH covers all of them - along with fast charging and a pretty decent weight savings over the OEM AUX battery.

Gotcha. So you keep the normal battery for the starter and the Li RedArc as the supplemental?
