Hello, could someone chime in where is the ground I need to disconnect on the battery connector before I remove the negative terminals from the main and auxiliary batteries? Do I need to remove alll the plastic shroud wit the totx 50 bolts to access it? Anyone has a picture of it? Thank you

I’m stuck at step 1 of the battery disconnect procedure and I appreciate any help you can offer

1. Disconnect the ground connection to the battery combiner (Smartpass).
2. Remove the negative (-) terminal on both the start and auxiliary battery. Never allow contact between the battery cables and conductive metal parts, for example, the vehicle body.
3. Perform the service work.
4: Re-assemble in the opposite order.
5. Check that there is no fault indication on the battery combiner (Smartpass) LEDs.
