Design-Build-Go short video on Rival Muffler Skidplate, a huge improvement over the OEM

I haven't tried Rival on the Ineos, I had their gas tank skid on my 200 for a short while. Decent product, but decidedly light duty. I've traversed the skid plate range and gone from factory, to light duty aluminum to heavy duty (3/16") aluminum, to 3/16" stainless steel. For real rock crawling style offroad nothing beats steel, regardless of vehicle. For use in regions that salt the roads, stainless steel is the ultimate. definitely a price to be paid in terms of weight, but at least it is low so it is less impactful to COG and mostly between the axles, so it spreads the load across suspension components. I wouldn't use light duty aluminum on anything more aggressive than fire roads/class 4/class 6 roads. It isn't fit for difficult trail use.
