Love taking my Grenny to go Mountain biking.

I actually have the 1Up two-bike rack and the Kuat swing-out. Its a perfect combo! Allows access to the rear doors. First did not have the Kuat swing-out and it was almost impossible to do anything useful in the back of the Grenadier with the 1Up fold-down was always in the way,

For years I used a roof rack for my bikes because it kept them out of the way. I am too lazy to put them on the roof now so I am finding a swing out to be a necessity if you actually want access to the back of the vehicle.

Deciding between, Kuat, RakAttach and Rigd Supply.

I ended up with the Kuat racks: Piston Pro 2 bike and the Pivot V2 (swing-away). Additionally, I mounted a Kuat Dirty Mount fork mount to the interior 40 seat underside when I am carrying just one bike or 3. I attached a hinge to the underside of the seat so that the fork mount rack could clear the seat back when folding, and is positioned so that it clears the seat bar support when lowered. I could not get the plastic panels off the seat back or underside, so I went with anchor bolts and short screws. Not a perfect installation, but one that will work when called upon. Will post a pic of the Kuat rack system the next time I have it on there. I also opted for the swing away to the passenger side instead of the driver side for the Pivot V2.

Super happy to be reunited with a Rivendell... sold my Rambouillet a few years ago and instantly regretted that choice. Just have to work out some bugs with the stem, as the handlebar feels a little too twitchy. Maybe add some length forward of the pivot point? Pretty gaga about it. :)

Back in July i had posted a picture of my interior fork-mount Kuat rack. Here is the exterior solution, using Kuat Pivot and Kuat Piston Pro rack. Has ample room/clearance to open the larger / right side rear door. Definitely a much better solution than just the Kuat Piston Pro with a rack extension. Pictures show the rack in the "open" position.

I am sure there are a few other cyclists on here so I thought it might be worthwhile having a thread to discuss all Grenadier related cycling stuff - but not necessarily the Ineos UCI cycling team.

What are your plans for carrying bicycles on your Grenadier? I often laugh when I see the Team Ineos promo stuff showing the Grenadiers team riding along with spare bikes on the roof of the team IG. I mean, how the hell would you be expected to do a quick bike change when the replacements are all the way up there? Obviously the Grenadier is not a practical race support vehicle, but it will certainly be a useful carrier. So how do people plan to carry their bikes? Roof, towbar mount? Inside? This thread maybe could have gone in the accessories section, but I suspect there will be a lot of other non-accessory related cycling chat as well, so I've just plonked it in the general chat.

Also - has anyone been able to extract any free Ineos team kit from their dealer agent or local Ineos subsidiary? I seem to have a whole bunch of Grenadier Prototype Tour shirts (nearly one for every day of the week ), but I haven't been able to score any free cycling kit.
Hi,
I recently purchased my 2025 Grenadier and I am also an active MTB rider, getting out 4X week. For me, I wanted a way to hold my MTB without blocking the rear doors so I purchased a 1 Up and then customized a way to attach it to the rear ladder while still being able to use the ladder for roof access, see images:

Interssting.. but I bet the 1up mechanism was never designed to have the full weight resting on the rear wheel lock arm

Correct, I doubt it was designed for the weight, so what I did was add on a ProGrip 1/4' XRT Rope lock tie down, about $13 at HD and rated to 150lbs. I hook the top to the ladder and the bottom to the last hole in the bottom of the 1 Up, this way it reinforces the 1 Up so it wont release. Been riding with it for a month no issues.

A fork style mount at the top of the ladder plus a tray & strap for the rear wheel at the bottom would be the ideal vertical setup. The 1Up is definitely not designed to mount vertically and will likely fail in time even with the reinforcement strap. This is not to disparage 1Up. Their racks are great and what I use for my bikes in the standard horizontal position.
