Custom receiver hitch cover plate

I'm guessing this is a knock-off? Or did you offshore your production!

It’s a knock-off… I’m not having much luck finding anyone local to me that can manufacture them at a price which isn’t ridiculous. My goal was to keep it break-even item and have the good folks at Grenadier Works help sell them on the forum store. Seems the more profit minded out there (not that there is anything wrong with that) are catching up and producing other versions.

How much were you thinking? Grenadier USA has come up with one but it's 100.

I saw theirs it looks pretty nice but I would like to have the option of making the Lambda a different color. That’s the costly bit as it adds expense for manufacturing and powered coating. I can see why they elected to CNC it with a raised Lambda and coat it all one color and keep it simple. I’m open to other ideas from the group… I’d be interested in making this a forum members project rather than a for profit vendor stepping in.

What if the plate is put together with a thin sheet of plastic that is red. Layer one is plate, layer two a thin piece of plastic and layer 3 the plate with lambda. Bolted all together

Really liked C-Mack's design, but as it is not available went with the counterfeit eBay purchase. Solid plate about 1 1/2 pounds. The lambda inlay appears to be a glued in piece of thin acrylic, not powder coated. Screws are hex and not torx. Will have to change those out for my new forced love for torx and seems like they should be black (easily fixed.). Took about 1 week to arrive. Came from a distribution warehouse in Compton, CA.

I’ve used these guys in the past. They do good work including custom work. I had my forum samurai avatar made by them into a hitch cover when I had my Raptor. The guy who bought it insisted it stay with the truck, so I let it go😂😂

At the very least you guys might be able to get some ideas from the examples they offer, even if you don’t use their services.
