Cars are moving out

Agent told me he is being advised by INEOS the day it's put on the transporter at the dock and it should be ready for me to collect 3 days after he recieves it.

Well then he has a problem.
Two of the dealers I have been working with were able to tell me it was
  • at port in Europe waiting for ship allocation
  • Loaded on a ship
  • Vessel name
  • expected arrival at dock in Australia
They said they are only updated once a week.
Holdups at docks means they could give me a delivery date until the vehicle was loaded on transport coming to them.
Can I take a guess that your dealer is a normal car dealer with multiple franchises?
If so they are then giving you the standard car dealer answers, not the truth.

ys & no Dave.

As I just said on the Australia wait times post - my agent does get a spreadsheet from INEOS containing vehicle VIN & details etc, customer name, expected date of port arrival but not ship name but it's not being updated regularly.

However, he was quite exasperated with the whole "information" process.

He said they (the agent) are in constant contact with INEOS to extract information for clients but this is taking a huge amount of time and can't call INEOS every time a client calls him wanting a precise update - I assume because he has too many. - fair enough too as he shouldn't have to make heaps of seperate calls.

and yes he is an established multi car dealer with 10/12 brands
