Aux sockets.

Has anybody found aux outlets in footwells,under bonnet and fusebox.Had a quick look but cant see anything obvious.Do you have to remove covers.Quick start guide very vague not a good picture.

J'ai réalisé un tuto sur le raccordement des sorties électriques aux pieds du conducteur et du passager. Ces sorties sont commandées respectivement par les interrupteurs INT1 et INT2 au tableau électrique supérieur. Le tuto précise comment avoir accès aux fils et proposer un emplacement pour les nourrices 12 Volts et USB A.

J'ai mesuré la tension de la batterie principale (12,6 Volts) et secondaire (12,9 Volts).
Les sorties commandées par INT1 et INT2 sont reliées à la batterie principale. Il faut donc éviter d'y brancher un équipement trop gourmant (max 10 A sur chaque sortie) et surtout de laisser en fonctionnement la nuit au bivouac sous peine de ne pas démarrer le lendemain.
Il me semblerait judicieux de pouvoir alimenter les sorties INT1 et INT2 par la batterie secondaire.

search "Canny outdoors" on YouTube. John Canny, a member on this forum has an excellent video where he prepares his Grenadier for outback travel.. including uncovering and connecting the aux. outlets.

Also, with respect, this issue has been "done to death" on this forum... just do some searching... ;)

When trying to locate the wire ends in all 3 locations, look for a small amount of black electrical tape around black fabric tape used on the loom. That is the easiest way to home into the precise location, once you know the general areas too look. That black electrical tape is what is taping the wire ends to the black fabric tape of the loom.

On a right hand drive car, the under bonnet wire ends are near the airbox. Some owners found it easier to remove the airbox to help find the wire ends.
