Looking for someone w/ early Autel TPMS program unit / software, who can assist (paid) in manually programing Autel MX-sensors to OEM TPMS unit codes for a second set of wheels. I pulled the OEM TPMS unit codes using a Sept/24 purchased TW508WF but auto create is the only option available on my 508 to program the MX-sensors. I have the MX-sensors (actually two sets - don't ask) as well second set of wheels and tires. FWIW I'm heading to Moab 4/29-30 via Albuquerque and returning 5/5-6 via Denver and could meet up in Moab or space between. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! Cheers!

I just snagged a TW508WF myself. It supports the INEOS but I don’t see a way to clone my original sensors either. What am I missing?

That means you have one that has the latest updates... Sometime between last April/May and the end of the year, they pushed an update that removed the ability to clone sensors

And I take it the new software written sensors DON'T pair with the vehicle?

The sensors can be paired to the vehicle, however, it would have to be done the traditional way at a dealership.

I was able to clone @mccasksl 's sensors @ the Moab event with my (not updated) TS508, I know several people have posted on here with non-updated units that have been willing to assist local folks to them

Anyone local in Austin? I have read the numerous TPMS threads and even decided to pull the trigger on the wildly more expensive Autel device as well. The TS600 Pro I believe.

Yes Anand (many thanks!) cloned both a set of Autel sensors mounted in my second set of wheels and a spare loose set of Autel sensors to match my OEM sensors in the OEM wheels and tires. I can now swap out wheel sets and get accurate TPMS readings as long as they are returned to the same corner w/o a trip to the dealer. My Autel TW508WF purchased 11/24 with ver 1.27 software will not clone OEM codes/sensors, you need ver 1.26 or older. But not too much older as Ineos Grenadiers are relatively new to Autel units. The forum has a number of members having older Autel units willing to help clone Autel sensors. Check out the numerous related posts for discussion. You may have to send a lose set of sensors to someone to program / clone. You just need to interrogate the OEM sensors to get the codes for them to clone. You can interrogate the OEM sensors with the newer TW508 units even if you cannot clone them. I have not found anyone in Austin w/ the older Autel units / software. PM me off list if you have any other questions.
Cheers!

My wife and I each have 2024 Grenadiers. We love much about the vehicles and would become very effective sales agents for you if just of few of the annoying quirks were addressed. One of the most annoying quirks is the TPMS system.
I've replaced the wheels and tires on both of our Grenadiers to have wheel/tire options for summer and winter driving. My experience is widespead in the INEOS community. Having to travel over 400 miles to the nearest dealer and then pay a ridiculous amount for the OEM sensors, when aftermarket sensors for almost any modern vehicle are available for a fraction of the price, is something they need to address ASAP. The issue is actiually not with the sensors but with the vehicle's TPMS software, which intentionally will not recognize/learn aftermarket sensor options as other modern vehicle systems do.
I have an Autel MaxiTPMS TS508WF (Software Version1.30 02/15/2025) that I've used effectively for other vehicles. About 7 months ago I purchased a wheel/tire set for my 2024 Grenadier from TireRack which came with TPMS sensors installed that TR said were compatible with the Grenadier TPMS system. They are not; TireRack has since noted that they do not have INEOS compatible sensors. I've tried every programming option available on the MaxiTPMS programmer, including connecting it to the OBD port to configure the vehicle system to recognize the aftermarket sensors without success. Apparently the INEOS OBD port does not allow private party interfacing. I've read that it may be possible to copy/clone OEM sensors using the MaxiTPMS and Autel MX aftermarket replacement sensors. Waiting for a response from Autel for verification.
That said, the correcr fix: INEOS please listen to your loyal customers, address these types of software issues ASAP with updates.

I’m sorry this has been your experience. What’s going on is you have the WiFi model, as in the TS508WF, that HAD the ability to rewrite aftermarket sensors to clone them to the OEM sensors but Autel took that function away with newer models or the WiFi version update.

I have the older TS508(non-WiFi) and that is able to write new Hex codes to MX sensors as clones for OEM sensors, even after the software update. I was able to buy a new one off eBay for $200 and can rotate wheels for summer and winter as I please.

Maybe try this as a stop gap solution until INEOS gets their heads out theirs ass about the TPMS and any other service reminder alerts.

I have the Autel unit that can read and write TPMS hex codes. I recently cloned my OEM hex codes to 9 Autel MX sensors (4 summer, 4 winter + spare tire) so I don’t have to go to the dealer in Colorado Springs when I swap tires with the seasons.

If you’re in the Denver area, I’m happy to help Grenny owners to do the same. I also have a tire machine and balancer, so swapping in new sensors is also possible.

Just to add-on to others offers…I’m happy to help Bay Area folks if they need an assist with this and I’ll be in Moab for the Grenadier Gathering April 1-May 3 and can assist there too. It’s a 10min job.
