AUTOMOTIVE GAUGES
In Australia the main automotive gauge makers are Redarc, SAAS and HULK4X4. The Gauges can monitor EGT, boost gauges, voltage gauges, oil pressure, speed, air/fuel mixture, etc. Redarc and SAAS also make gauge pods. There is no custom pillar pods for these gauges to fit the Grenadier yet. Hopefully 4X4 Concepts will do so in time (I have asked them, but they gave no response). Enerdrive also have some gauges for power monitoring and they stock Simarine Screens.

AWNINGS
It appears most awnings can be fitted to rooftop bars and the pioneer platform, but check before you buy.

1. INEOS offer the Bat Wing Side Awning as an option;
2. Bukkwakka Awnings, I have not seen on fitted to as Grenadier yet;
3. Clevershade Awning. The most suitable for the Grenadier is the 270 degree 4.0m model. The one I own and use;

ACCESSORIES FOR YOUR PIONEER PLATFORM

CTEK SMARTPASS 120S AND 250SE DC TO DC CHARGER
Read comprehensive thread here. The 4WD Supacentre has the CTEK 250SE on special from time to time.

CTEK D250SE MOUNTING BRACKET
A mounting bracket allowing you to mate the CTEK D250SE to the 120S, options include:

1. Solar Expansion mounting bracket. The description does not say if it is compatible with the 2-seater Grenadier, ask if you have a 2 seater before buying;
2. If you buy the RedArc TowPro kit from Expedition HQ (packages 2 and 3) that kit has a mounting bracket included for the D250SE, but it only fits a five seater Grenadier;
3. Blacksheep have a 5-seater and 2 seater mounting bracket - they are different.

DEUTSCH PLUGS

DIFF BREATHER ADAPTERS
If you want to fit diff breathers, you need an adapter for the Grenadier’s diffs. You then connect the adapter to your Diff Breather Kit.

DIFF BREATHER KITS
Diff breathers raise the diff breather point above the waterline. The Kits are commonly installed under the bonnet. Look here for a selection of diff breathers available in Australia. I ended up buying the BRC kit, see why here.

DOOR SEALS AND A DYNAMAT ROLLER
"Dynamat rollers" can be used to firmly seat door seals back in place after you remove them to lay cables (more here). Available here and here.

DOOR SILL PROTECTION
Some 3M film can be applied to door sills to protect “against chips, scratches, dents and other types of damage to the door sill caused when entering & existing your car.” Look here.

DRAWERS, FRIDGE SLIDES, FITOUTS, ETC.

FIRE EXTINGUISHERS
Options include:

1. The common chemical fire extinguisher at your local auto store;
2. Firestryker, which can be fixed using QuickFist Rubber Clamps 25-45mm. Or buy a Kit at KAON; and
3. Blazecut T Series.

FIRST AID KIT OR SNAKE BITE KIT
Snake Bite Kit can be viewed here (I own this one), here and here.and here. Because I travel so remote, often alone, I bought a high end kit.

First Aid Kits can be bought from many places. I like the Kits from Survival First Aid here. Aldi has Kits from time to time as well.

FUEL TRANSFER

1. Scrunnel; the thread on the Scrunnel is incompatible with the Grenadier, at least for the AU Spec Diesel model;
2. Mr Funnel which can filter out water and debris from fuel, look here; and
3. The Tanami Pump; the Metal Jerry Can Transfer Pump. No moving parts, the pump runs on compressed air. You need an air compressor to use (it can be used with manual air pumps).

FUSES

GPS TRACKING OF VEHICLE
SOLID GPS offers Australians (and other countries) a reasonably priced GPS Tracker and SIM card to track your vehicle. I have had one installed for a while now and it is working well.

GVM UPGRADE
Expedition HQ has GVM upgrade packages before and after registration for Queensland and New South Wales. Call Rick at XHQ to discuss.

No Australian suppliers at present, but Emuwing is working on one. You can buy them from Europe here.

Brown Davis now offer an auxiliary long range tank for the Diesel model of the Grenadier. Capacity an extra 68 litres. Discussed here. Apparently a Petrol version is under development.

Expedition HQ have another option for 60 litres, being an XSPEC Molle panel on the rear side windows with a 30 litre fuel container on each side.

The Truck Warehouse AU has high quality tie downs at a good price, Single stud version here, double stud version here. Both are rated at 900kg (that is probably breaking strength, working load limit is roughly 1/3 of that).This post here has pictures and more information on these tie downs. 1. I use a VICTORINOX Swiss Army Knife Rescue Tool, it was used in my Big Car Crash. I got mine for eBay for about AUD140 (Price at Jan 2024).
2. RESQME Car Escape Tool - Glass Breaker & Seat Belt Cutter. Buy here. A cheaper option than the Swiss Army Rescue Tool.

RUBBER CLAMPS
Quick Fist make a variety of rubber clamps which can attach items to your cargo barrier or rear roof shelf. For example, the 25-45mm version can be used to affix the Firestryker fire extinguisher or the 80mm version can affix the ARB Jack (thanks @globalgregors). I bought some small metal plates from the hardware (plate size varies depending on the clamp used), covered them in black fabric tape and used it to attach the rubber clamps to the cargo barrier. The black fabric tape makes the metal plates hard to see and cushions the plates to protect the paint and the fabric stops any rattles. There is hole in the bottom and the top of the Quick Fist clamp, where I used black zip ties, so the clamp was secured in 3 locations.

1. RubberTree. There has been one report of fitment issues with the Rubber Tree seat covers here;
2. Woolly Fleece in Townsville have made custom seat covers for the Grenadier;
3. SupaFit seats cover are available now. They are not listed on the website, but you can order via phone or email. I have ordered my set.
4. Black Duck seat covers for the INEOS Grenadier are now on their website (thanks @pedrogb);

Many of switches seen on 4X4s are Carling type switches (now owned by Littelfuse) also called rocker switches. Australian sources of these switches include:

2. SAAS, which has an extensive range of switches and switch panels, especially Carling Panels;

6. Enerdrive, water resistant rocker switches. Which I think are made by Blueseas Systems who also make Condura Switches, Toggle Switches, Rocker Switches and Rotary Switches;

8. Narva, with both switches and panels, like Sealed LED rocker switches, OEM styles switches, Toggle Switches and more;

UHF headsets
GME has a large range of UHF headsets, accessories plus PLBs. I have only ever used GME units for my fixed UHF, I have never been let down. GME also has portable UHF units as does ICOM (which I own).

Aerials
The two big names in aerials in Australia are RFI (they supply all the emergency services) and GME. A lesser known name is Benelec who do a lot of marine and military work. Check dealers to get the best price.

Aerial mounting brackets
Mounting options for UHF aerials in Australia:
