My dealer has been difficult, if not outright near useless. Truck spent 6 months with them only to be returned to me in worse condition. Everything is a struggle, everything is never their fault. Forgetting to plug in the door switches not their fault, missing screws in dashboard not their fault, heater leaking coolant after removing it to Fix A/C condensation, not their fault. Their technicians have no pride in the workmanship and they are on service manager #3 in one year. There’s no continuity. The Dealer Principle(manager) is one of those “don’t be mad” types so everything to him is just another day. If you’re angry at shit service, not his fault either. And since they are the only dealer within 2000km I’m stuck with them.

Very satisfied with Compass Tractors / Automotive in Bridgwater. Also had some experience with Lloyds Carlisle who were very helpful also.

Maybe should try Compass especially if they will collect the vehicle. I spend a lot of time in the Poole area so not too far.

Dont know if they collect, but worth the drive just to go to Pynes of Somerset, same industrial estate. Great breakfast bacon and mushroom bap and incredible Pork, stuffing and apple sauce bap for lunch.
£500.12 for first service at Compass.

I’ve had very good luck with Curry. The last service was good but took a bit longer than originally told.

Tried KO 3 times early on in my ownership and never heard back from them (email and Phone). I am in frequently since it is my daily driver so their loss in revenues I guess…

All comes down to labour rate I think. My first service was £455! Second service in next couple of weeks, will see what that comes to…

Sterling Trailer Centre, STC, gets a 5 from us. After having to be salvaged north of Perth they hung back on a Friday and and lent us their vehicle until ours was fixed, even though it wasn't an Ineos courtesy car/ Ineos Fleet Vehicle at the time.

Would have been a neutral or satisfied for Endeavour at Gerrards Cross - that turned into a very dissatisfied, as the last time it went in there they had employed what must have been some local mechanic who had no bloody idea how to put the door back together after changing the door button. Ended up with a more experienced guy being called out who knew what he was doing and continued working after hours to get it sorted while the staff at the dealership buggered off home. Looking at going to Adventure Automotive either in Oxford or Northampton for the next service. (Any feedback on either of these would be appreciated)
Since learned today after calling Ineos that Endeavour are no longer in the portfolio of dealerships….Would have been nice to have been told by Ineos
Thank god I still get a kick out of driving such a well made car, as the quality of the product far exceeds the systems put in place to support it.

KO in framingham MA was a great dealer experience. My only advice is maybe put your whole inventory online... It is tough to wade through 70 cars on the lot that all look the same, but have different options. My sales guy eventually located exactly what I wanted though, told me about it VIA txt and I bought it the next day.

They’re building a nice community of owners with events and communications here. e.g. the dealer makes efforts to get new owners into their trucks and out into the dirt and forest and to get to know each other

Service has been good but I haven’t expected too much of it yet except some warranty defects here and there.

Well my Grenadier was dropped off on the 10th May at the Oxford dealership then they were taking to Northampton for the actual service. I’ve had one phone call last Friday, this is despite numerous calls and emails from myself. The guy calling was from the BMW motorcycle part of the business and very pleasant. He said the Ineos dealership staff were off sick and my vehicle was not ready. He promised to call back Tuesday but hasn’t.
Despite various emails I get no reply. When I phone I always get the switchboard and a reply to say someone will get back to me, of course no one goes. F-ing frustrating I just want the vehicle back. Ineos customer complaints is my next port of call.
First impressions aren’t good if they can’t even communicate Rant over
Next time I’m going to Compass in Bridgewater who I’ve been on the phone to and they are switched on and on the ball.

After much deliberation, I have finally decided to tell my story in the hopes that it might have some impact on what is going on in South Africa.
As way of background, I enjoy overlanding in Southern Africa. My current vehicle before the grenadier was a 2005 TD5. I have followed the Grenadier story from the very beginning, and simply knew that it was exactly the car of my dreams.

In June 2024 I purchased a MY23 demo trialmaster from SMG Umhlanga (SMG group in Umhlanga/Durban and Cape Town, and SMH group in Johannesburg are the original and only retail outlets for the Grenadier in South...
