Added Garage Opener to the Grenadier

I looked at this and there are a couple more, and for the price I was thinking use what I already have and only had to drill a round hole. lol But yeah that would be another great option too! There is one that I found that was single button but they wanted 229$ USD for it.
I have to say yours fits in perfectly with the aesthetic! And love the location.

Just did it. Thanks for the idea Tenac!

So you need to remove the overhead panel to replace the opener’s battery?
Yes, it is on an hinge the whole thing swings open if you just pull down on the rear section and work your way to the mirror. Super simple takes less than 3 seconds to pull down and let hang on the hinges.

Yes and No. I only need to remove the front panel (four screws) to get to the battery. I also left my circuit board inside the plastic case it came in, but without the push button mechanism…

Ahh the overhead panel comes off in pieces? I thought it was a single unit
Three panels. I chose the smallest panel towards the front because once removed, there is a small hole that I can pull the controller through to access the battery. There’s a nice little pocket up there for the controller sit in.
