ADAS Update? Is this really happening?

Technically speaking, even the MY24.1 update, which is right at 20 minutes (and updates lots of modules, similar to the MY24.2/MY24.3/MY25.1/MY25.2 update) says it requires a battery charger as well

But yes, for those with a VIN >17000, go ahead and start talking to your dealers if you want the ADAS system to have ignition-cycle persistent settings. For those with MY24.1's (<17000 VIN), it should be in the very near future

I took mine to the dealer (Arrowhead in Phoenix) on Friday to get the pin reinstalled on the transferase shifter and they told me the same thing. They said they are going to try it on a few of their own vehicles over the coming days to make sure its problem free, and assuming it is, they will schedule updates for customers after.

Hi Folks – I went into my dealership for an oil and differential fluid change last week and apparently I was the first person in the US to get the new ADAS update. In short, it caused a failure of my speed sensor camera. They have ordered me a new one, but, as a result… of either my dead speed camera or the software update (not sure which!) I no longer get the ticking noise when I rip past the posted speed limit.

That is actually a perfect solution - might be the best software update they could have designed.

We just need our Grenadiers to have ADD & Dyslexia like this driver. My LR read a 35mph speed limit sign as 85 one time. Crazy since there are no 85mph speed limit signs in Pennsylvania. Even crazier that that 35mph speed limit is on a road that is dirt, potholes and hard packed gravel. And sometimes horses.

I’m at the dealer now getting safari window seals fixed (did you know Ineos is on the third version of safari window seals, ) and door handle recall.

Service manager confirmed what’s been stated above 24.2 is out and takes 4-5 hours, 24.1 (what my vehicle is) is coming soon and will take 30 minutes, the difference has to do with some cybersecurity encryption (not really sure what that means).

I’ll be up for an oil change in 3 months, so will probably just combine that with the ADAS update.
