ADAS Update? Is this really happening?

Wait!

The way I read that, is that it will only remember the setting if you COMPLETELY disable ADAS????
So, if I wish to configure my vehicle to have ISA and land departure off, but have AEB active; I will still need to do this at every start???

I hope I am interpreting that wrong.
I wish to customize the features I want on/off, and have the vehicle remember every time.
For that matter, it should be an easy thing for the vehicle to remember different settings for different keys.

This is junior level software IT stuff.
Once corporate made the decision to allow the "fix", this should've been tackled in a weekend by 2 programmers who still have acne.

They are programming in embedded C. Hired front end devs

How could you ever think it's not a free update. I promise you I will not pay for an update, and my truck will be updated. They can't botch the software and then ask you to pay to fix it.

It will remember any adas setting through ignition cycles. However you have it set, it will remember that.

That's not really answering the question. How does one determine for themselves? I have the same question.
The cutoff is somewhere in the mid the 17000 VIN range (somewhere between 17300-17700)
