This is the body of an email which went out today for members whose accounts have randomly defaulted to read only.
"Good morning, I hope this email finds you well,
For some reason your email address is rejecting the emails from the forum. With enough rejections this creates a 'hard bounce’ so the techs tell me, resulting in the account defaulting into a read only state. For context this has affected about 100 accounts or so in the last few days.
What’s been suggested to me is that members can put the forum email address on a safe list. That the forum email address be selected as a not spam email address, and finally that users set their preferences to receive less forum emails.
I know its not ideal but at the moment this is a quick work around.
