A few thoughts about Ineos Automotive and the Grenadier

It would be easy to move the old inventory. Lots of companies looking for fleet trucks and they don’t care if it has lockers. Put a wrap on it, price it under 50k (maybe low 40’s) and take the loss….unless behind the scenes Ineos has back stopped these in some way and the US dealer isn’t penalized (ie: floor plan cost). If Ineos is propping up the old inventory then they’ve accomplished another milestone (in the negative column:)

Convert them into those stupid arcane works trim. Those buyers would never use lockers
 
US production would be nice, but a second version that used more American parts like Dana axles and maybe even a US source engine instead of the BMW.
Then it becomes no longer a Grenadier.
Maybe an Ineos Homeguard or something.
 
yea. lsx drivetrain and dana 60's. bombproof, and cheap and easy to fix. I'm not sure I'd go upside down to trade in for it, but I would be envious of those that had that setup.

You also won't have the many Asian hardware components , nor quirky but loveable Euro software.
What would you call it?
ATM it's a Germofanidier.
 
have said before...if Toyota had brought the 70 series to America in diesel or even petrol.....a Grenadier likely would never of been needed. That has and will never happen we are told....so the Grenadier/Quartermaster is my vehicle of choice. I dont want them to go under....I did not buy for investment......and those that did would be better off selling now and buying something else.
Really? Have you ever driven a 70 series?
The V8 although sounds great is a thirsty inefficient gutless engine, the clutch is so weak it needs replacing as soon as you do any engine upgrades, the rear track is narrower than the front due to lazy engineering which makes it horrible to drive, it’s hopeless off road due to rear leaf hangers and shocker mounts being so close to the ground and very little suspension flex and the list goes on and on.
Don’t be fooled by Toyota worship and appearance
