74Weld Portal Axles for the Grenadier

So I've been dying to do the LeTech portals once approved for US market. Does anyone know if I can have it installed on my already lifted ride??? This probably a silly question for those who know this market well but its still new too me. I have the kings and Eibach springs 2.5".

In theory the addition of portal gear boxes shouldn’t change anything in your suspension setup. You may have to swap wheels to provide more back spacing depending on the implementation. As wide as these are I would be surprised though.

The biggest obstacle is going to be the traction control and SRS system. INEOS currently has issues with the portal axle equipped vehicles as the yaw rate sensor keeps causing issues and nearly causing the side curtain airbags to blow as it is detecting yaw acceleration faster than it should. For whatever reasons they really struggling with the vendor to have it reprogrammed. As a career industrial automation engineer, I've been less than impressed with Ineos technical capabilities to the point that I wonder if they're truly competent. At least when it comes to deep engineering analysis of software. I was told they're currently looking for a suitable place to relocate the yaw rate sensor to for it the be lower in the center of gravity. It current sits on the transmission tunnel inside the vehicle under the center console.

There's quite a few users who experience traction control lights flashing with lifted Grenadiers as they accelerate on cloverleaf's attempting to merge with freeway traffic. If you experience this, you know why now.

I had a more drastic experience that I'm yet to be able to elaborate on but will once resolved.

Food for thought, use it as you choose.
Cheers
