Greetings!

Got my Gren last week and thought I would post my first 500 mile impressions.
Im sure you guys already know but here goes...

Build quality is very stout. No squeaks, no rattles, nothing.

The truck was delivered with 49 psi in each tire. Actually didnt ride too bad. Lowered to 37 and improved slightly. I may drop to 34/35. I know manual calls for 36 with no load. I'll y probably settle on 36psi.

My gas mileage has averaged 18.4 mpg according to the truck electronics. Mostly open roadways, no stop and go urban driving.

The Steering. So much has been made of this....
I test drove one awhile back and thought it was fine.
I still think it's fine. It's a truck, not a Ferrari. I am perplexed at why it bothers people soooo much that the vehicle's steering wheel doesnt self center after turning a corner.
Why are you wanting to let go of the wheel anyway? Use your hands like youre supposed to.
I dont see any use for an upgraded steering stabilizers or whatever if all they do is help self center the steering. IDK. I think it's an American thing. IDK.
Im fine with it the way it is.

Acceleration is surprisingly decent. No complaints.

Seats.
Hmmmm....Yeah, I know...."They're Recaro." Uh, yeah...
The seat bottom is a bit mushy and there is very little lower back support.
Yeah, I know, "Recaro" but I think it leaves something to be desired.
Im not saying they're bad, they're just ok...My back gets a little sore on extended drives.
Yes, I know this is subjective and I admittedly have a sensitive back.
Small thing but I wish I could raise the front of the seat to tilt it back slightly.

I was able to turn off speed warnings as my truck had the update.
Once in awhile I'll get some random bong, usually it's LKA but sometimes I have no idea. lol. Infrequent and it isnt bothersome.

Sometimes when you turn the truck on it gets confused between radio, XM, and car play. It's been good after the first few starts though.
I wish it could show Car Play and my XM channel at the same time.

I might adjust the steering radius bolt or whatever. You definitely have to plan ahead for sharp turn or u-turns.

Overall its a cool vehicle and enjoyable to drive.
Im loving it.

3 questions....
The display in the compass is too dark to read with the headlights off and then when the headlights go on the LEDs light up nice and bright.
I have been all through the settings and cant find an adjustment for it.
I think its opposite, it should be brighter when lights are off then dimmer when headlights go on.

What if anything goes in the compartment inside the back bigger back door? I see a strap inside there but nothing there.
Was there some option, like emergency kit or something?

Is there a way to see your XM channel at the same time your Android Auto is on or does it display one or the other?

Thanks guys.

Glad to hear you're loving it, I certainly love mine. Can't relate to your seat issues though. I get way less back pain in the Gren than any other vehicle I've owned.

As for your 3 questions

1 I don't have the compass myself but it sounds from your description like it's tied to the screen brightness. If that's the case try manually turning the light off then adjust the screen brightness, then manually turn the lights on and adjust it again. The Gren remembers and automatically adjusts it when the lights auto on/off.

2 the euro spec comes with safety triangles and vests in there. I find it's the perfect size for the factory tire change tools.

3 not sure, as I just use android auto all the time. Maybe an XM app?

The back door pocket on mine has an Ineos branded kit with first aid, warning triangle and hiviz jacket.

In the UK most car dealers (all brands) remove these and sell them on eBay. When challenged they say removed for safe keeping and forget to replace it.
My last count was 5 times on brand new cars.

Oh don't you worry, the rattles and creaks will come in time and mileage. To be fair it's still a seemingly well assembled truck, but they do have sneaky creaks and rattles. I'm at 13k mi and I have several to be sure.

Is there a way to see your XM channel at the same time your Android Auto is on or does it display one or the other?
Unfortunately there is not. While we use CarPlay, we assume it is the same, and while you can listen to another source while displaying CarPlay, it will only display the audio being piped through CarPlay.

This has been my experience as well; it's an either-or scenario, unfortunately
