You'd have thought this would have commenced about the same time as Euro, Australian, other market type approval ~ unless Ineos were resource-bound and had to leave one market to follow the others.

Or indeed, assuming the process is expensive, delayed commencing it until they were clearer on the trade dress case and how that might be resolved?

May have been delayed by the JLR US jurisdiction trademark dispute…

If you are not going to launch it in North America until late 2023 then no need to tie up your resources until mid 2022.
It will have been designed to meet the certification process from the start so it is really a process not a trial

I was under the impression they were going to start taking orders Nov/Dec and delivering around March in the US?
