The Definitive Jacket thread.

Besides the famous chase scene in Bullitt I do not think I've ever seen a Steve McQueen film (I can hear the gasps from here). I guess I really should - it seems every guy over 60 thinks he was the coolest in all the world. A "man's man" whatever the hell that means.
I watched the 'Le Mans' film in full for the first time only about 3-4 years ago, the 'Great Escape' I would have seen many times at Christmas as a child, I'm sure it was on again this year.

I have one of the "heavy as" folding bikes Peugeot threw in with each purchase of their wagons.
It's pretty cool, and if anyone accuses me of riding a girly bike, well Steve used one as his pit bike in the making of the Le Mans movie.
P.S. if anyone has a roadgoing Porsche 917 F/S, I could be interested.
