wolfbox 900 pro rear facing camera location

Hi All - Sorry to be a pain - I'm not very technical.

Can anyone tell me were to position the rear facing camera - my dealer has placed the camera just above the licence plate on the outside of the car and its not great as its buffeted by wind and is vulnerable.

What location should it be placed in ( I'm thinking inside the back door) and how can it be done.

Mine is central to the vehicle, mounted on the rear bumper. Came unstuck, but a stronger adhesive pad sorted it. Even large dogs scrambling in and ou5 have not proved an issue.

I mounted mine inside the 70 door at the top of the glass. When it rains, just cycle the rear wiper once and it's clear. Let me know if you need pics.

I think it depends on if you plan to go off-road. A lower mount will most likely get very dirty, muddy, etc…

The typical location is screwed into the inside plastic surround on the larger door. @Loc Nar and @Andy H both have great write-ups with plenty of pics. @Loc Nar exterior mounted his on the roof below his roof rack, which I may end up doing for a clearer picture. IMHO, one downside of the interior mount is the glare off the glass (ie sun, headlights, etc…) which effects picture quality.

Not dismissing your comment but personally I've never had glare issues. I do have the privacy glass and i positioned the lens very close to the window glass. Good luck.

Just did ours. We put it to the left side at the top of the right door-as far to the left as feasible. It seems to work well so far.
