went for a 5 tire rotation and somewhere between there and home, the small cap that covers the bolt to hold the plastic cover popped off. Anyone know how to get a replacement?

we don't need no stinkin' beauty covers

That would fill up with so much snow/dirt/etc here. If you can’t find a cheap replacement, the aftermarket has covers/storage solutions. I have the one from Buzz overland, it’s pricey but nice. Just remember to pack an appropriate socket wrench to get at the spare

Funny my dealer told me they didn't do five tire rotations as that would have uneven wear introducing the fifth. Not sure I'm completely sold on that

My dealer doesn't either, and I agree 💯. I've never done a 5 wheel rotation on a 4x4 for 4 decades. Primarily because I replace all 4 at the same time, which would mean replacing a tyre still with some usable tread. I treat the spare as a spare, if it is needed for a puncture I get it back as a spare as soon as the other is repaired. My dilemma occurs if the original can't be repaired 🤔
