What did you do with your Grenadier today?

it's difficult for me to trust a man with a beard and no moustache
From Halloween this year. 😎

Installed the DVA Mechanics roof spoiler. Always been the type to check off the aero kit option box on my cars. This part adds a bit of panache to the rear end and is only really noticeable to the most discerning IG eye.
  • Very well packaged
  • Fits great
  • Very responsive customer service
  • Totally reversible
I'm really happy with the look and always grateful for legit vendors, in the hopefully burgeoning, Grenadier aftermarket ecosystem!

Love it. Don’t have black roof and have been bugging @DVA Mechanics to get a picture of a painted one…

Working on a Wolfbox install this morning I was reminded of why the Grenadier costs what it does.

Dust that got into the door (partly my fault) was stopped from getting into the cabin.

Dust seals on the rear three quarter door trim panel. Have a look at some of the direct competitors and see what they have.

Battery State of Charge

I purchased a Noco trickle charger for when I don't use the Grenadier for a while.

After charging the dual batteries to 100% I started the car and compared my Bluetooth monitor to the vehicle monitor.

I'm inclined to trust the Bluetooth monitor as it agrees with the charger.

Today, and the last few days I have spent my time sorting out the installation of a redarc tow pro brake controller in my quartermaster.

First I thought the Brake Module would be near the wheel well, so I took off that panel from the truck bed.

Not seeing it there I thought maybe I could run a wire from the connector near the hitch. So I messed around with that.

Then I realized the trailer module must be behind the seat so I proceeded to remove that. Then I realized I had access issues to some screws and removing the seat was the best bet, so I went to get a security style torx set to remove the seat. I have ended up taking more of the vehicle apart than I had planned, but it never hurts to know how things are put together.

I did squeeze some adventure in and used the truck to hand cut a Christmas Tree from the local start forest. So I did get some mud on the wheels at least !!

Square drive screws are not that unusual. Pick up a matching bit for a couple of dollars at your local hardware store and all is well. It is not something to make a big fuss over.
Yeah, I went to said local hardware store, no square drive bits. Thanks for playing answer-man with us, now go away before I fetchez la vache.

Bison basket arrived and was promptly installed. Very quick and easy. Impressions? Wow. This thing is a beast. Very solid and well made. I told myself I’d only need one, but its so good, I’ll likely end up with the left one some day. It perfectly fit the tow strap, tree keeper, soft shackles, snatch ring, etc. I also received the cargo shelf and was back and forth as to whether or not to keep it. I’m not sure I need the space at the moment. But I might one day🤔🤔🤔🤔
