What did you do with your Grenadier today?

@KristinaM no part number on the filter that came in the petrol B58 snorkel/airbox kit. Not sure if it’s manufactured by Uni-Filter but it’s not foam, rather looks to be oiled cotton gauze, akin to a K&N. Seems to be of high quality.

Interesting. I’m still trying to identify why the UniFilter Australia CP1 85/140 pod filter isn’t compatible with the petrol variant of this airbox. According to Canna Fabrication it should be. I assume Rohan doesn’t ship the airbox with an adapter for a 85mm input?

The UniFilter Australia CP1 85/140 filter has an 85mm flange, 140mm length, and 115mm O.D

Count your wins when you can get them Rupert, in the last 35 + years I think I was right or remembered to get something she forgot once, but I can't remember when asked what it was, of cause I forget something at least once a day.
Good idea to write it down, I wish I did that one time I was right 20 odd years ago.

I rubbed shoulders with actual forum royalty today. @Rok_Dr was in Brisbane on other business and reached out to me for a meet-up. Neither of us live in Brisbane but it was worth the effort to get together at the Brisbane Motor Museum and discuss our favourite vehicles. Done with that, the talk turned to all things Grenadier.

An "Ikea" table for the Utility Belt....

During my recent camping trip in Death Valley, it would have been handy to have a table that I could use when the kitchen with its work surfaces wasn't deployed. It would also be useful when the kitchen was deployed, for example it could be set up as a condiment table. I wanted something that could set up in seconds and wouldn't take up much storage space when it wasn't in use. On the long drive back home to Delaware, I thought about it and came up with a design.

It's a simple side table which mounts to the Utility Belt. A mounting rail attaches to the Utility Belt with thumbscrews and a rail on the edge of the table that slips over the mounting rail. The mounting rail installs in seconds and can either be carried inside the vehicle until needed or it can be installed at the beginning of a trip for instant use:

For now I've left the mounting rail long; other things could be hung on the free ends but I may cut it just outside the thumbscrews.

The table is a $12.99 Ikea bamboo cutting board: https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/aptitlig-cutting-board-bamboo-80233430/. A larger or different table could be used but for the price this one works nicely.

The table doesn't support too much weight with just the mounting hardware on the edge, so I added two supports made from webbing, they hook over the drip rail and are adjustable.

I left the Ikea branding...

Next I'll sew a simple storage bag for it.

Are you asking about the camels? I made the decal - I drew it on my computer and cut the vinyl on my Cricut Joy cutter.
