What did you do with your Grenadier today?

TYRE REVIEW
I wrote up a review of the new Falken Wildpeaks AT4s here:

FYI @Eric

The small sized Dobinsons drawer system fits the back of the Grenadier with zero spare MM. door shuts fine and bolts to the L track mount. See my other post for details. They sell universal side wings I plan to trim to fit.

What kind of dog is that? I have an Australian Labradoodle that looks very similar!

Not sure how others will feel about this but I didn't like the Grenadier's white LED tail lights. So ... I covered the flat main part of the light with a see-through red tinted wrap. This is designed for lights and so it's meant to be transparent while shading the light red. As you can tell, it retains the look of the original, just with a red tint. Probably not for everyone, but I like it better.

Ran a 50 amp circuit to the boot for a DC-DC charger, installed a Redarc Tow Pro following the INEOS directions that were given to NA dealerships for a caravan I ordered and some other various wiring.

Wait up.. What's this "boot" business. Are you deliberately trying to confuse us foreigners? Don't you mean trunk?

Nice work BTW 👍

I figured my "trailer" is coming from Australia, so might as well call it a caravan and adopt other lingo.

Seriously though - I wasn't sure what to call it. I view a trunk as the enclosed space at the rear of a car. I don't view the "load space" of a station wagon as a trunk.

We'll be sure to load that caravan with Fosters before it goes across the pond. It's what we drink down here according to @Krabby 🍻

And (y)(y) for your lingo efforts. You're already onto Page 2 of the citizenship test.

It’s Australian for beer. Everyone knows that.

Got a response - The “recommended” pod filter appears to be a Uni Filter Australia CP1 85/140 ( Custom Induction Pod ). I’ve ordered another as a spare.

Concerning my other question - This airbox uses a ball valve for the drain which is great.

The plot thickens…

Per Rohan - The Uni Filter Australia CP1 85/140 Custom Induction Pod is only compatible with the diesel sealed airbox. Apparently the petrol variant has a slightly different size. I’m currently waiting to receive the relevant Uni Filter Australia part number for this component.

@LazarusTheGrenny - Have you identified the Uni Filter Australia part number for the induction pod GrenX shipped with your petrol airbox?

OK, on a rear engined car aka Porsche or VW Beetle, what do you refer to the back access and front storage space as - boot and bonnet 🤔

@KristinaM no part number on the filter that came in the petrol B58 snorkel/airbox kit. Not sure if it’s manufactured by Uni-Filter but it’s not foam, rather looks to be oiled cotton gauze, akin to a K&N. Seems to be of high quality.

When I started thinking about a station wagon's load space and putting something in it, back in the day we refered to loading the back up, put it in the back or when in the vehicle it was throw it over the back. The same was said for the old surfer's panel van, jump in the back girls.

Yesterday I put a Python in the back of the gren and replace it some klms away from the chook pen were I found it the night before. It is now in a little bit of rainforest but could possibly be back here at some time, they are claimed to travel back. Some people say 2klms or 5klms, my wife thinks that everyone I catch she has seen before :ROFLMAO:

The seats behind the front row in our wagons was “the back” and the open area behind those was, is, and forever shall be, “the back back.”

Well it was the back seat and then the back for us. So things were either, on the back seat or in the back. So the dog had pride of place on the back seat with the window down and head out until he or she was filthy wet and stinky, then definitely in the back. (y)
