What did you do with your Grenadier today?

Delivered the Morgan to Cranfield to get it's new roof and we now have some mission creep as the trimmers will sort out some of the existing trim faults, like replacing the seat foam with the correct density foam. It should be ready for collection on Saturday.

To get the most out of the borrowed trailer and to clear a lock-up garage, so I can surrender it back to the housing association, (I'm executor for an old mate with as bad a car habit as me), picked up his old Ford Focus from Bloxwich and took it to my friendly argicultural engineer for a reasoned opinion on whether to fix or scrap the Focus. The thumb was down, as with rusty sills, lots of bodywork issues, age, mileage and general market value, it will go to salvage on the trailer to maximise the price given.

The around trip was about 230 miles and the Grenadier just lapped it up. As a tow car, it is wonderful; it barely noticed the Morgan, although at 700kg, it is a bit lightweight; even the Focus at roughly double the weight was no issue. There is plenty of power and the gearbox makes the best of the power and torque available.

Nothing too exciting just added a custom front plate… sometimes it’s just the little mods which bring a smile. :) Now I can go out and enjoy the nice fall colors and weather while it lasts.

I had Arrowhead Ineos install the software update and do a full one year service, along with the door button recall which ends up in getting new keys for the car.

I also had them install 30mm F/R Eibach Springs along with a set of Kings they had in stock. They did a good job on the alignment too. Truck drives great and the 255/80R17 BFGoodrich HD Terrain tires are a perfect OEM+ look.

With a Scotland flag, in the US ? 😍

Last week went down to Agile to get their high-tuck exhaust and skid plate installed, which enabled me to install their Apex airLynx rear adjustable sway bar disconnects today. Straightforward install, but on the upper bolts it felt like I needed a third hand to pull down on the sway while I tightened the bolt with one hand while holding the hex wrench with the other. All that remains is trying it out and finding the pressure settings that suit me.
How does the magma flow exhaust sound? Much different from stock?
