What did you do with your Grenadier today?

🤫 on the weight. 😂 both myself and my wife are small , we pack lightly , hardly eat anything , don’t take any spare clothes ,tools or vehicle spares and don’t drink much water 👍🏼
Front prop CV joint C clip failed last year and very small cracks in aluminium casting of gearbox where plastic pan fixing screw fit. This caused a very slow weep which wasn’t recognised at the time of the initial repairs.
Getting ready for more adventures although the next one is without the Grenadier as we weren’t sure on timings of upgrades. Next year now before a new Grenadier adventure

Got Liberty back today. After having gearbox replaced, replace rear right axle shaft seal, new transfer box cables, heat shielding around gearbox. LRA auxiliary fuel tank fitted. OEM heavy duty black marked springs all round. Airbagman air bags in rear springs. Note the the air nozzles adjacent to the rear recovery points. Reroute exhaust to facilitate fitting of auxiliary tank. Note only one exhaust tip now. Wheel alignment all round.
Drives great. Definitely sits higher although mine seemed low before compared to my mates Fieldmaster spec. I bit stiffer ride but still super comfortable, this stiffness will change once the springs are bedded in and vehicle kitted out for travel. A nice burble to the exhaust sound on idle and a louder hum at motorway speeds but not too intrusive.
Compass Automotive have been great throughout the whole process and always giving progress updates. I can’t recommend them highly enough. A great outfit and Tom super helpful.
