What did you do with your Grenadier today?

After weeks of shipping, my grenadier finally arrived on island. Went to the BMV to register it, and they were stumped. Ineos Grenadier was not in the drop down menu. The final decision was to issue paperwork on a Landrover Defender Custom. Lol. They worked with IT to get Ineos added. Called back in the afternoon to pick up a new title and registration with Ineos Grenadier.
So for whoever is the next Grenadier owner in the US Virgin Islands, you are welcome for the 4 hours I spent convincing the government that it’s not a Defender!
Beach day next!
Beach day with it’s much older cousin.

I did something similar and had the screws vibrate out on washboard roads.
Arghh I tried to install this today.. the fit is terrible. The panel wobbles because the bolt length is not long enough to grab onto whatever mounting hole that’s there.. I removed the bulletpoint amps mount for now. It will surely cause plastic fatigue damage over time.

I had that issue in Massachusetts. Bought my Grenny in Connecticut and the DMV in Mass took almost 1 week before they added it to the system! The dealer in Mass clearly hadn’t reached out to the DMV. Mine was registered then the next day the dealer started registering vehicles…

Interesting thing was that the dealer in Mass couldn’t start selling due to local municipal issues for a couple of months after vehicles began arriving stateside. They had plenty of time to to get this sorted.

I played around with my second hand hi-lift and the new farm jack that arrived today, better to test it before I really need it.View attachment 7901749
I trust you have a thick plate under the jack; I have 2 of these - one for the Ineos and one for the jockey wheel of my caravan. I cut a notch so they can also be used with the bottle jack.

I installed this table and enjoyed coffee and a croissant in front of my house. :) You have to celebrate small victories. I kinda botched the foam tape and need to do it over at some point though. All set for post hiking beers tomorrow either way.

@parb - how does it feel in hand? Aesthetically, I can't stand the stock BMW one, but it does it's job ergonomically.
I drove with it today for a couple of hours. One place required what felt like a 15 point turn... It felt good in the hand, I really like it. I really like that it's a bit smaller, I think it feels more natural from my seating position.
