What did you do with your Grenadier today?

Today I'm at my dealer for a 30k service. I am very happy with my Grenadier and can only recommend it to others. You can see that Ineos takes the issues seriously by the fact that all vehicles that are more than a few weeks/months old receive new door locks. New locks have been in series production for some time now. This will solve the problem of buttons getting stuck. The previous remedies suggested by Ineos have not been successful. This was already clear to me and my dealer at the time. That's why they didn't carry out the modifications. This time, the complete door locks will be replaced. There is a recall campaign for this. I didn't have any major problems with it myself. I lubricated it once in a while and that’s it.
 
Just got back from an epic rally-like trip through Morocco. Along the Algerian border to the south, and along the Atlantic back to the north. 4000 km in Morocco, of which about 3000 offroad + 2000 km on and off. We had a professional workshop team with us, who repaired 2-3 cars every night! Problems with the Grenadier: zero

Nothing! What do you suggest I do?
Spent 7 hours adjusting valves, changing plugs and checking head bolts on my '78 911.
It;'s a fiddly task.
Too me longer that it should have , but sometimes going slowly and carefully is for the best.

Too bad, we did not meet or @Logsplitter, who was there, too! We returned from a trip to Morocco 10 days ago! Looks like you have been on La Plage Blanche as well, such a great drive over the beach! Our Grenadier performed perfectly as well, in the mountains, desert and on the beach. Perfect car in a great country! Maybe we meet in Germany. If you are living in the Black Forrest, it is not far from Mannheim...

As an addendum: The ignition lock and the vehicle keys are also replaced together with all the door locks, as all the components are connected to each other.

I had three three doors and the boot door buttons sticking. The agent took the door panels off and lubed them saying they had not done so at the factory on assembly. That was 5 months ago and so far so good. Will keep an eye on them as won't ask for them to be replaced if fit for purpose.

That was my way of thinking. Yes when I got the vehicle 18 months ago, all the door buttons stuck and was annoying. Being sprayed a number of times in early months. However now the drivers and front passenger door don't give any problems. Whilst the back passenger doors (not regularly used) do occasionally stick but are getting better. I am now inclined, when my time comes, to only do the rear passenger doors if needed.

I can understand that. I have discussed with my dealer that we will also wait and see. They have already converted one vehicle and it works very well. What I don't know, however, is whether the conversion is prescribed by Ineos, as there were probably safety issues with self-opening doors.
