What did you do with your Grenadier today?

Little by little I get to add all the things I bought well before delivery. Today my Tougher seat covers, made 12/3/23. I can't thank @Tatum with working with me to make the custom black and grey. I am glad other people have latches on to my idea and have used the designed in their Grenadier It suits the no existent middle rear seat.

This is all I have been able to find and behind the switch is the large panel on the left and reverse of that is a printed circuit board.
I have circled the switch mech in red and the indicator light in yellow.
I am not that knowledgeable on automotive printed circuit board switches so someone here may be able to identify this type and it's operation.
pretty sure that if it burns out or breaks you will probably need to replace the entire circuit board, which at Ineos rates is probably the wrong side of $1,000

THE KIMBERLEY PART 1 (PART 2 HERE)
The reason I built out my Grenadier, to visit remote parts of Australia like the Kimberley. Back in the Nissan Patrol days I spent 7 weeks in the Kimberley area, as well as the Pilbara.

Pat Callinan has just released a video on the area (I just watched it). Many of these places I visited while I was there. There is a giant Doppler radar at the Five Rivers Lookout but the video does not show you that. It tracks Cyclones and weather in that area. When I visited someone had carved a giant man's you know what across the clay pan on the bottom left. They either blurred it out or it has gone.

Later you see another lookout platform on El Questro Station, if you are quite at Sunset and the Rock Wallabies will come out, from under the Platform, around dusk.

I enjoyed that video bringing back great memories, although there were some Yahoos, Bogans and Tossers

570 mile, ten hours in a day, round trip East Coast corridor drive to pick up my son’s things from school. Just chuck it all in the back. Effortless. Oh and I was surprised by having only two positive walk up interactions with strangers to talk grenadier. I’ve never experienced a negative interaction but only two in 500 miles is lower than average. I love this vehicle even before it hits dirt. And the. There is the dirt.

This Saturday 10th May I start my trip driving the Grenadier to Cairns and back for work.
2,896 kms or 1,800 miles and 32 hours roughly driving for the trip up and back.
This is a work trip and I will be calling on customers in Cairns and Townsville.
At around 12 litres/10 kms I will use about 350 litres of diesel plus another 50 litres of local driving for around 400 litres total.
At around $2.00 a litre that makes it about $800 in fuel.

Saturday 10th will be a 5:00 am start and a long day at 901 kms to Bowen.
With breaks it will probably be 11 - 12 hours

Sunday will be a later start at about 9:00am and only 554 kms but lots of road damage after recent flooding so expecting maybe 8 hours drive.

Monday Tuesday customer calls and training sessions in Cairns.
Wednesday 14th May drive to Townsville, only 350 kms but road works and damage may make it about 5+ hours drive.

Yesterday while I was posting this my wife was having a routine CT Scan that she has every 3 months to check that her cancer problems haven't returned.
Unfortunately it has returned in numerous locations around her abdomen and 2 locations in her spine.

Surgery not an option so we will find out more next week on treatment options.
Sunday is Mother's Day and the doctor advised we should make the most of it. It may likely be her last.

On the east coast, where could you go for 3 days to have fun and be challenged? Mud and the beach would be fun, I would drive out from Colorado for that. Particularly for a beach.
