On long drives it is good as a bit of a stretch and exercise when I take my break every 2-3 hours.

Yours seems more sustainable; I keep a pack of windscreen wipes in one of the drawers. luckily most along-the-highway petrol stations have windscreen cleaning squeegees as wellI keep a trigger bottle of windscreen cleaner and a windscreen brush in the lockable wheel box. Very handy for a quick cleanup during short stops. I found a tool with enough handle to reach the centre of the windscreen. The handle is too long to fit in the wheel box so it unscrews and stows in a pocket on the back of my M&M rear seat cover.
Nature is amazing, it's wings were two large feetWait til summer! With global warming , everything will get lusher and critters bigger , as they did back in the day.
Gonna need a thicker screen!
"The largest dragonfly ever discovered was a prehistoric dragonfly-like insect called Meganeura permiana. This creature, which lived during the Permian period, had a wingspan of approximately 71 cm (28 inches)."
Snap, just did the same for the above latch light a few weeks back but still have to finalise the wiring. Been putting it off as I have to dismantle the rear storage system. I now have more incentive as I need to remove the storage system for some warranty work.A while ago I installed a Baja Design Dome Light on the upper cargo door latch and hard wired it to the aux battery. This gives my wife and I more light for cooking when it gets dark.
It worked really well on our last Mojave Rd trip:
However, when using the table... we had a shadow which was a bit annoying. So I installed a second dome light on the trim above the rear window.

No pictures?!?Finally got my HAM radio installed. Fished the antenna coax (the very thin type offered by Diamond) through the left side roof power grommet, down the b-pillar (behind the airbag), under the passenger threshold to the battery box where the radio is mounted on the GP factor bracket.
Ran a longer Ethernet cable from there to the control unit mounted on an Agild Offroad ball mount over the right heated seat dial. Should be able to pull the control unit off when not in use, for a less cluttered cockpit.
Went with the Diamond K540 folding antenna mount clamped onto the roof lashing bar. Wanted a spring mount but the one I tried wouldn’t work. Maybe I’ll find a better one in the future.
I am sure there is power in the door somewhere... I decided to not chance a random fault code by tapping into the harness and ran a line to the aux battery.Did you end up finding power for your back door light behind the trim panel or did you run that to the auxiliary battery?
Sorry, I suck.No pictures?!?
I did the same with the Touch Light I installed in the GP Factor table's cubby - easier to just run to the aux battery.I am sure there is power in the door somewhere... I decided to not chance a random fault code by tapping into the harness and ran a line to the aux battery.
One of our local IG club members has mounted a wind deflector* on his bull/roo bar ...* sourced from a truck parts/ accessory outlet. He reports that it's effective for deflecting bugs and light gravel, but not stones....!
The deflector comes in different colours and widths (e g 36")![]()
